What an idiot. What a complete fucking idiot. Nazem Kadri was supposed to be a huge X factor this series. He’s such a talented player centering the third line in Toronto because they have two guys named Matthews and Tavares (heard of em?) slated ahead of him. He should have been the guy to expose a matchup against the Bruins third and fourth lines because he’s talented enough to play on just about any 2nd line in the league.
Instead, that stupid ass ran around, undisciplined, just like he did last year, and got himself suspended. Again. In the playoffs, against the Boston Bruins. Again. Guy’s got million dollar hands and a ten cent head.
I also don’t want to hear any of this Sean Avery nonsense that has been going around the internet. The amount of losers I’ve seen saying DeBrusk’s knee to knee collision was a “dirty leg check” and that he somehow made a dirty hit on Marleau right before Kadri went looking for his front row of teeth is out of control. The knee to knee thing was a collision. DeBrusk lead with his shoulder and Kadri jumped trying to sidestep him. They booped knees. That shit happens in a game played on ice with men traveling 20+mph. The Marleau hit was nothing. He rubbed him along the bench and Marleau hit the glass. Again, shit happens.
I hope the Bruins run Toronto’s show and Kadri has all summer to sit and feel shame. Again, what an idiot.
