Why is Tyler Austin in a Gatorade Commercial?

This commercial is awesome. I was trudging around work today, ducking through the stick racks and crawling under jersey racks, hoping my fellow associates would help the family of 5 get fitted for hockey gear so I can check twitter in the break room. Then this Gatorade commercial came on and suddenly I had a pep in my step and was motivated enough to sell a pair of $300 skates (with footbeds and socks, gotta pad those numbers).

I couldn’t get the commercial out of my head. It came on again and this time I had the luxury of actually watching it and my gum fell out of my mouth when I saw Tyler fucking Austin’s hissy fit on full display. What the hell is Tyler Austin doing in this otherwise awesome commercial? I’m sure he must be on fire this year to justify his appearance

Woof, Tyler.

Who’s running things over there at the Gatorade factory? Did they need an extra 2 seconds in that commercial and decide to ask the guy who screws the orange caps on what they should add? “Ya idk brother how about a Red Sox/Yankees fight or sumthin. Put in that bat slam from last year”. Hey Gatorade, you uncultured swine, here’s how that fight ended when Ty guy got to the mound

Personally, I’d put the handsome protector in white in the commercial. If only he did something cool in that moment that would fit perfectly with the rivalry theme of the ad

Such an awesome commercial. Such a gross oversight. Be better, Gatorade.

PS: While I’m fixing your company, bring back Gatorade Tiger. It’s been long enough.

PPS: God bless Joe Kelly
